While checking my old SD cards I found a long recording taken during my live-act on 21.05.2008 in "Kronika" – Centre of the Contemporary Art (Bytom (PL)). I remember that really loved one part of the recording and it became the basis of this single entitled "Chronique”. I added some new elements and guitar loops, which are now part of my contemporary composition process. This is how I combined my early works with things love in ambient today.

Podczas przeszukiwania moich starych kart SD natrafiłem na nagranie live-actu z dnia 21.05.2008 r., który zagrałem w Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Kronika w Bytomiu (PL). Pamiętam, że naprawdę podobała mi się jedna część z tego koncertu i postanowiłem, że stanie się podstawą nowego singla, który zatytułowałem "Chronique”. Do utworu dodałem nowe elementy i pętle gitarowe, które są obecnie częścią mojego stałego procesu kompozycyjnego. W ten sposób udało mi się połączyć moje wczesne prace z tym, co pociąga mnie obecnie w muzyce ambient.

Eilean is great at surprising the hell out of me when they find this cyclical, percolating, instrument-rich ambient music. Akin to Eilean's releases from Toàn and Sonmi451 which are two of my most favorite on the label, I'm already certain from the preview songs, that 'Illuminate' will be one of my favorite, most listened to albums of 2019!
