I started recording this album when Covid attacked me last autumn, exactly one year ago. The pandemic was strong once again and I could not see much hope. And then the war started. Crazy bastard Putin attacked Ukraine and many helpless people had to leave their homes and flee the country. Many innocent people died. Many lost their families. But still, many found a new home in Poland. This album is about that time.
Regarding the production process - whilst there are so many good synths available, I decided to mostly restrict myself to those created by independent developers. I used many of Hainbach’s apps and plug-ins, but also stand-alone virtual instruments created by Giorgio Sancristoforo. This was the good and fun aspect of the process of creation, a much needed counterbalance to everything else going on in the world.
So here you go - my new album about “Uncertain” times. Enjoy!
