This album is a tribute to the unique talent of the independent music software programmer, Giorgio Sancristoforo, and his latest creation called BENTō.
All sounds on this album were created inside BENTō and later arranged and mixed in Ableton Live.

Why I decided to record all sounds in BENTō? I've been a user of Giorgio's software since Gleetchlab 2.3 which is still installed on my first white MacBook. What is more - I sometimes still use it! The next version, i.e. Gleetchlab 3.0 was my main software for a very long time. I created many soundscapes using that version. The idea of a software in which you cannot even save presets was really appealing to me. Gleetchlab 3.0 was my main performance software during my first 2009 China Tour. Later I used it also quite a lot live. Here is one example (all sounds come from Gleetchlab 3.0 - even the clarinet was processed by this software).
